Graduates of MLS Academies are everywhere in the college ranks nowadays, as many are aiming to continue developing with one day landing a homegrown contract.

Here’s a look at how a selection of MLS Academy alumni fared in Division I action over the past week, as the NCAA tournament kicked off across the country.

Senior MF Chris Ritter started, played 97 minutes and had an assist in Northwestern(m)’s 3-2 loss against Bradley(m) on Nov. 21.

Sophomore MF Drew Conner started and played 90 minutes in Wisconsin(m)’s 1-0 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Nov. 21. He also started and played 80 minutes in a 4-0 loss against Notre Dame(m) on Nov. 24.

Senior D Scott Lakin started and played 97 minutes in Northwestern(m)’s 3-2 loss against Bradley(m) on Nov. 21.

Sophomore D Brendan Hines-Ike started and played 90 minutes in Creighton(m)’s 2-1 loss against Seattle(m) on Nov. 21.
