Graduates of MLS Academies are everywhere in the college ranks nowadays, as many are aiming to continue developing with one day landing a homegrown contract.

For now, of course, the focus is on their college teams, as the season continues to move along and the chase for the College Cup inches along. 

Here’s a look at how a selection of MLS Academy alumni fared in Division I action over the past week: 

Chicago Fire

Junior GK Charlie Lyon started, played 90 minutes and made two saves in Marquette’s 2-1 win over Seton Hall on Nov. 2. 

Freshman MF Louis Bennett II started and played 90 minutes in Marquette’s 2-1 win over Seton Hall on Nov. 2.

Sophomore F Joey Calistri started, played 77 minutes and had a goal and an assist in Northwestern’s 4-1 win over Loyola-Chicago on Oct. 30. He also started and played 86 minutes in a 1-0 loss against Wisconsin on Nov. 3. 

Sophomore MF Drew Conner started and played 90 minutes in Wisconsin’s 1-0 win over Northwestern on Nov. 3.

Senior MF Chris Ritter started, played 18 minutes and had a goal and an assist in Northwestern’s 4-1 win over Loyola-Chicago on Oct. 30.
