Graduates of MLS Academies are everywhere in the college ranks nowadays, as many are aiming to continue developing with hopes of one day landing a homegrown contract.

For now, of course, the focus is on their college teams, as the season continues to move along and the chase for the College Cup inches along. 

Here’s a look at how a selection of MLS Academy alumni fared in Division I action over the past week.

Chicago Fire 

Junior GK Charlie Lyon started, played 90 minutes and made seven saves in Marquette’s 1-0 win over Providence on Oct. 19.

Freshman MF Louis Bennett II started, played 80 minutes in Marquette’s 1-0 win over Providence on Oct. 19.

Junior MF Brady Wahl started and played 90 minutes in Marquette’s 1-0 win over Providence on Oct. 19.

Senior F Harrison Shipp started, played 90 minutes and had an assist in Notre Dame’s 2-1 win over NC State on Oct. 19.
