CHICAGO – Frankie Amaya had his name called with the first overall pick at the 2019 MLS Draft, as the first two rounds of the event were held at the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
While the draft’s influence on supplying to the league is certainly continuing to diminish, it remains an important event for pro hopefuls to celebrate getting a pro shot.
