RALEIGH – The NC State men’s soccer team (4-1-1) picked up its second straight victory on Tuesday evening, defeating the visiting College of Charleston Cougars (1-4-1) by a final score of 4-1 inside Dail Soccer Stadium.
NC State striker Kuda Muskwe scored a goal and distributed an assist on his birthday, an evening which included four different Wolfpack players finding the back of the net. Muskwe, David Loera, and Jamie Smith each scored their second goals of the season while freshman Kendall Edwards scored the first of his career.
Postgame Notes
-NC State is now 6-1-0 against College of Charleston.

NC State attacked the visitors right from the start on Tuesday evening, scoring in the fourth minute when Pepe Garcia played a ball to Gabriel Machado at the top of the box. Machado crossed to Muskwe at the six-yard box and the striker nodded it inside the far post to give the Wolfpack the early lead.
The Wolfpack finished the first half on a strong note, scoring goals in the 34th and 37th minutes to all but put the match out of reach. Edwards redirected a Smith free kick to record the Wolfpack’s second goal of the evening and Smith scored on a brilliant effort to the far post to make it 3-0.
College of Charleston pulled one goal back in the 60th minute on an impressive free kick by Jake Nicholson, but NC State closed it out in the 87th minute when Aidan Foster and Muskwe assisted on a Loera breakaway goal.
