North Texas Soccer Signs Five Players
Following a record-breaking season and a conference championship, the North Texas soccer program and head coach John Hedlund have signed five players to Letters of Intent.
“We’re excited about these five players that have signed and have chosen to be a part of the Mean Green family,” said Hedlund. “We feel really good about the 2015 class. They all met our needs, and we will be adding a few more talented players as well at a later date to complete our roster for this coming fall.”
The five signees are: Carissa Sanders (Denton, TX), Sabrina Munguia (Baytown, TX), Taylor Torres (Frisco, TX), Brooke Bradley (Houston, TX) and Madison Brown (Irving, TX).
“Carissa has good size, tremendous speed and the versatility to play up top or be a shutdown defensive player in the back,” said Hedlund. “Sabrina and Taylor are both very technical players with a high work rate, read the game extremely well and both have a nose for the goal. I’m really excited to add two goalkeepers in this class. Brooke and Madison have the size, experience and the potential to grow, which gives us the depth we really needed in this position.”
