The National Women’s Soccer League looks like it’ll be back for 2014, offering a professional path to senior standouts looking to stay in the United States after their current final college season ends.
Many of the usual suspects have delivered as expected, with the likes of Maya Hayes, Nkem Ezurike, Julie Johnston, Crystal Dunn and Vanessa DiBernardo all enjoying stellar seasons, and will be at the top of draft boards in January.
But some seniors that entered the season with a little less fanfare have made immense impacts, likely to turn the heads of technical staffs across the fledgling league.
Here’s a look at five players that have made a case to continue their careers somewhere in 2014.
