Eryn Weber gave Findlay the 1-0 advantage at the 11:59 mark of the first half as she put away a deflected ball of Panthers'' keeper Laura Clark (Fr./Lapeer, MI).
ODU knotted the game at 1-1 off a set piece in the 35th minute as junior Jennifer Holton (Johnstown, OH) struck a perfect free kick to freshman Tonya Frasik (Lebanon, OH) who put it away for the first score of her young career.
The Panthers allowed just two shots in the first frame, but the Oilers began to come alive in the second with eight shots for the half, including the eventual game-winning strike from Brittany Guglielmi from 25 yards out to the upper right 90 in the 54th minute. An own goal by ODU at the 70:24 mark provided the final tally.
