ODU-VCU SOCCER MATCH RESCHEDULED FOR OCT. 30

NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU-VCU soccer match has been rescheduled for Oct. 30th at 7 p.m. at the Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond, VA. The Contest was originally scheduled on Sept. 1, but was stopped 27:44 left in the first half with no score due to inclement weather and lightning in the Richmond area.

VCU currently is ranked eighth nationally by the NSCAA/Coaches poll. A total of six Monarch opponents are in this week's poll. Joining VCU are Creighton (5), New Mexico (14), Maryland (17), Tulsa (18), and UAB (20).
