Ordonez Scores 19th in Kats' Season-Ending Loss

BATAVIA, N.Y. - Oct. 25 - Despite the 19th goal of the season by sophomore forward Pablo Ordonez (Cheektowaga, N.Y./Cheektowaga), the Erie Community College men's soccer team suffered an 8-1 loss to Genesee Community College Tuesday in the quarterfinal round of the Region III playoffs.
Genesee CC, the nation's fifth-ranked team, improved to 13-1-2. ECC ends its season 8-8-1.
Ordonez scored in the game's 64th minute with the assist credited to freshman forward Ron Cox (Lackawanna, N.Y./Lackawanna). Ordonez ends the season with 49 points which currently ranks seventh in NJCAA Division III. His 19 goals rank sixth. For his career, Ordonez recorded 82 points, 32 goals and 18 assists.
