There have already been several names added just a little over two weeks into the opening of the transfer portal. From grad students who could make an immediate impact to highly coveted underclassmen looking for a change, here are ten names to know currently in the portal. Each player has publicly announced on social media that she has entered the portal.

Brooke Dardano, Louisville - Despite missing all of 2023 through injury, Dardano returned to set career highs across the board for the Cardinals, providing seven assists and starting all eighteen games. The Kentucky native is an intriguing prospect for programs looking for an experienced grad student who can be part of a starting rotation from day one.

Addison Hess, Penn State - Hess is another highly rated prospect from the 2024 class in the portal, opting to leave Penn State after six months. The former USYNT attacker did not play a minute for the Nittany Lions this season, adding to the excitement for a new program that could get the final third specialist for four years.

Manon Lebargy, Middle Tennessee - The C-USA Midfielder of the Year is in the portal. The French attacker would come in as a senior fresh off a season where she scored 12 non-penalty goals and created four assists. There is no telling how the transition to a higher level will pan out, but Lebargy will bring plenty of experience, having earned over three thousand career minutes.

Marcia Ojo, Columbia - Sure to be one of the most sought-after defenders in the portal, Ojo is a full-back with three years of starting experience in the highly underrated Ivy League. With intelligent positioning and excellence in possession, the New Jersey native is a prospect that can vault a backline from good to great, either as a starter or rotational piece.

Lauren Omholt, Purdue - After playing 1200 minutes to land on the Big-Ten All-Freshman team, a coaching change saw Omholt take a step back with just under 900 minutes this season. The Mexico youth international is a technically proficient attacker whose elite athleticism grounds her ability to play several roles in the midfield and front line. It will be intriguing to see if Omholt joins a non-Power 4 to be the focal point or opts for an elite team looking to add versatile athletes to the rotation.

Neve Renwick, Tennessee Tech - Having enjoyed a breakout season of ten goals, Renwick enters with two years of soccer remaining. The holdback with her evaluation is that the Ohio Valley Conference was relatively weak once again. However, a non-conference brace and assist versus a Columbia team that qualified for the Ivy League tournament suggests Renwick could be the real deal.
