As usual, sorting through the potential pro prospects for the 2022 college season comes with several challenges.
There’s the cluster of Homegrown prospects, potential MLS draftees and players that could end up signing with USL League One or Championship sides. The extra year still available to players even means that seniors this fall could potentially return for another season as well. MLS NEXT PRO teams need players as well. A small contingent of players are back after being picked earlier in the 2022 MLS Draft.
