Rangers Fall to ThunderWolves 3-0 in Pueblo
PUEBLO, Colo.: Ranger women's soccer had some trouble putting in a goal this afternoon against the Colorado State University-Pueblo Thunderwolves.
The Rangers put up a valiant effort, outshooting the opposition 18-8 on the day, but managing only three of those shots on goal.
Freshman Kat Crump put up five saves for her team, but the opponent's eight shots on goal were too much in the end as they knocked in three on the day.
The first goal came in the 11th minute, before the T-Wolves scored again in the 24th to end the half up 2-0.
Despite the Rangers seven shots and four corner kicks in the second, the T-Wolves maintained their defensive effort and grabbed another goal in the 64th minute of the match.
Moving their record to 3-5-1 overall and 1-4-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, RU looks to snag a big win over Metro State at home on Friday, October 11 at 3:30 p.m.
