Record 16 Saints Named MAAC All-Academic
LOUDONVILLE, NY – A new program record 16 Siena College Women’s Soccer student athletes were named MAAC All-Academic Team selections by the conference Monday. To be eligible, a student athlete must have completed at least two semesters at their current institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher.
Siena’s 16 MAAC All-Academic Team selections were second most amongst all conference teams, and break the previous program benchmark of 15 set each of the previous two seasons. As a team, the Saints hold a stellar 3.45 cumulative grade point average through the conclusion of the most recent Spring 2019 semester.
Siena’s MAAC All-Academic Team selections were seniors Madi Belvito, Taylor Dorado, Hanna Longendyke, and Haleigh Schanz, red-shirt junior Amber Alfonzo, juniors Darby D’Angelo, Deanna Lomino, Jayanna Monds, and Rachel Sullivan, red-shirt sophomore Sophia Dimkopoulos, and sophomores Leslie Adams, Morgan Camarda, Sinead Carroll, Julianna Kissane, Carrie Krohn, and Emily McNelis.
The Saints recently wrapped up their 2019 season with a final overall record of 4-11-4 including a 2-6-2 mark in the MAAC.
