Childers joins Kansas
One of the biggest transfers in the women’s Division I game was announced at the end of last week, as Rylan Childers moved from UMKC(w) to Kansas.
It’s a great get for the Big 12 program, which will need to find a way to replace the offensive production of Katie McClure. Childers, for what it’s worth, has been one of the most consistent producers of both goals and assists during her two seasons at UMKC. She scored 21 times and chipped in 24 assists through her sophomore year.
