Sentz Leads Kats to 1-0 Win over FLCC

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - Oct. 20 - Sophomore midfielder Taylor Sentz (Hamburg, N.Y./Frontier) scored on a header in the 81st minute to give the Erie Community College men's soccer team a 1-0 win over Finger Lakes CC Saturday in the first round of the Region III playoffs.
Freshman Alexander Drainville (Orchard Park, N.Y./St. Francis) was credited with the assist for the Kats, now 11-5. ECC has won eight of its last nine contests.
Sophomore Rich Bund (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) made 11 saves for his fifth shutout of the season.
The Kats will play second-ranked Genesee CC, the region's top seed, Tuesday in Batavia, N.Y., at a time yet to be determined.
