Siena Signs Francesca Gerbasi
LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women’s Soccer Head Coach Steve Karbowski has announced the program’s second addition to the Class of 2025. Yorktown Heights, New York product Francesca Gerbasi has signed and returned her National Letter of Intent, and will enroll at Siena College next fall.
“We are excited to welcome Francesca to our Class of 2025,” said Karbowski. “She is a strong possession player who can play any position centrally on the field. Francesca is a technical player who sees the field very well, and her distribution and decision making are very good. Her energy and personality will be a great addition to the team and the Siena community.”
Gerbasi joins Cora Keohane, who signed last month, as the second member of Siena’s incoming recruiting class. Gerbasi starred at Lakeland High School where she captained the Hornets to a regional quarterfinal victory earlier this fall before the season was cut short. She tallied seven goals and eight assists during the abbreviated 12-match season, earning All-League acclaim as we all as being tabbed an All-Section and All-Star Team Honorable Mention selection. Gerbasi, who amassed 10 goals as a junior, plays her club soccer for Mahopac Elite.
