SR Marissa Davis Named RMAC Player of the Wk
Senior Marissa Davis Earns RMAC Offensive Player of the Week Accolades
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.: Senior midfielder Marissa Davis earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades this week after her performance in the 4-0 shutout over Adams State and the 3-1 upset of then-ranked #13 Colorado Mesa University (now unranked).
The Rangers are ranked #23 in the nation this week, third in the region with a 7-2-1 overall record and a 5-0-1 RMAC record.
Davis put two goals in against Mesa on Sunday, and one game-winning goal on Friday against Adams. In the two home wins, Davis tallied six points in eight shots, three of which were on goal.
Regis University is the only DII institution in the country that has top 25 national rankings in men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball.
The Rangers will take on Colorado School of Mines on Friday, October 5th at 5:00 PM in Golden, Colo.
