April 1 takes the Red Storm to Lehigh, Pa., to play against the Mountain Hawks at Ulrich Sports Complex. St. John’s and Lehigh have never played each other during the regular season.
St. John’s remains on the road to play another mini round robin, this time in Princeton, N.J. The Red Storm will play BIG EAST National Division rival Seton Hall on April 14 in a re-match of the 2011 BIG EAST Championship First Round from late-October. The Pirates scored in the 89th minute to advance in the Championships. Earlier that month, St. John’s defeated Seton Hall 2-1, with both goals scored by Jen Leaverton. The spring game will kick off at 11:30 a.m.
Later that day, the Red Storm will play host-school Princeton at 1 p.m.
St. John’s spring schedule concludes during the weekend of April 21. The Red Storm will welcome back some of St. John’s women’s soccer greats to Belson Stadium on Saturday as the alumnae will return to challenge the current roster. Game time is slated for 2 p.m.
On Sunday, St. John’s will host Central Connecticut State University at 2 p.m. to finish off the spring season. St. John’s and CCSU have not played each other during the regular season since 2004. The Red Storm leads the regular season series, 2-0.
