Stony Brook downs by Harvard 2-0
October 28, 2014
Cambridge, Mass. - The #Seawolves couldn't overcome two Philip Fleischman goals, falling to Harvard in a non-conference road match, 2-0.
Goal Recaps
- Fleischman's first goal, which came in the 42nd minute, resulted from a scramle in the box. The ball popped loose, allowing him to hit a first time shot past redshirt sophomore Jason Orban (Manorville, N.Y.).
- Fleischman would tack on a second in the 65th minute, taking a long pass and beating Orban with a well-placed shot.
Notes
- Harvard held a 15-7 edge in shots and a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal.
- Junior Martin Giordano (Weston, Fla.) led Stony Brook with two shots, both of which wound up on frame.
- Orban, making his second start of the season, made four stops in goal.
