TDS Women's Division I Top 25: August 26
The top five survived the opening week with a perfect record, as the Division I women's season officially kicked off.
Teams ranked Nos. 1-5 finished with a 10-0-0 record, with several enjoying comfortable wins.

No. 1 Florida State managed to hold off Wisconsin on Sunday, as a Malia Berkeley howitzer in overtime secure the game. Deyna Castellanos bagged a goal and assist earlier in the week to beat TCU 2-0.

It was a similar narrow victory for No. 2UCLA, which edged Long Beach State by a 1-0 score, as Mia Fishel's long strike stood up as the game-winning goal.
Perhaps most impressive was No. 4 Stanford's performance. Catarina Macario scored twice in a top-six title with Penn State, leading the Cardinal to a 2-1 win on the road. Facing West Virginia on Sunday, the Cardinal offense clicked once again, as they beat the Mountaineers by a 3-1 score.
