Making a top ten list for any position group in college soccer is difficult, but the midfield has an extra challenge for this fall. There are a couple of players on the list who could easily be in MLS right now, but decided to return for another chance at collegiate glory.
The crowded midfield list pushed some worthy candidates from on the bubble to outside and peeking through a window. With this type of depth in quality from midfielders this fall, it should setup for an exciting college soccer season.
