Leading the way for the Thunder were sophomore Kristen Elliot (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) and Freshmen Morgan Baldwin (Amanda, Ohio/Amanda-Clearcreek) and Melissa Smiles (Davisburg, Mich./Holly) with two shots each.
Senior Jen Wall (New Haven, Ind./New Haven) made nine saves on the afternoon including five in the first half.
Trine will look to rebound as they take the week off before hosting defending conference champion Alma College during homecoming on October 1 at noon.
