Travis Myernick Named Assistant at ODU
TRAVIS MYERNICK NAMED ODU MEN’S SOCCER ASSISTANT COACH
NORFOLK, VA—Old Dominion University men’s head soccer coach Alan Dawson announced today that Travis Myernick has been named an assistant coach. Myernick comes to ODU after serving two seasons as first assistant at Rider University.
“ We are very excited to have Travis onboard as a member of our Coaching staff and as a part of our Monarch Soccer Family. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the assistant coach position which will benefit the Program in all areas. We are fortunate to be able to hire such a strong candidate and look forward to the future growth of Monarch Soccer.” – ODU Head Coach Alan Dawson.
Prior to going to Rider, Myernick was on the Wake Forest University coaching staff from 2009-11, including the 2009 NCAA national semi-finals.
Myernick, a native of Denver, Colo., is a 2006 graduate of Wingate University where the midfielder graduated with a degree in sport management.
