Turner signs NIL deal with Nike
Sophomore forward Reilyn Turner is the first college athlete to sign a Name, image and likeness (NLI) agreement with Nike, the company announced on Tuesday.
Turner, who recently finished up her second season at UCLA, scored 10 goals this season. She also signed with sports agency Wasserman via the NLI agreement. As part of Turner’s sponsorship, Turner will team up with Nike to work with Los Angeles-based community partners.

“As a Black woman and Mexican American, I think about those who have paved the way for me and how they used their platforms to create so much change, even beyond sport,” Turner said in a press release. “I hope to be a role model for those around me and those after me, and I’m so excited to be a part of what Nike is bringing to the future of women’s sport.”
