The U23 WNT will take a roster of college players to the upcoming Thorns Tournament to play three games against NWSL teams (OL Reign, Portland Thorns, Racing Louisville) between March 12-18.
This tournament is a great chance for fans, NWSL teams and USWNT staff members to see how the best players in college soccer stack up against the highest level of professional soccer. In fact, eleven of the players from last year’s U23 roster for the Thorns Tournament are currently on preseason rosters for NWSL teams.
