STORRS, Conn. – University of Connecticut men’s soccer coach Ray Reid released UConn’s 2015 Spring Schedule on Friday, announcing five matches and four clinics that will take place over the next month.

The Huskies’ spring slate gets underway on Wednesday, Apr. 1 against the University of Bridgeport. The match, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m., will take place at Knights Field in Bridgeport. UConn is back in action three days later when it travels to Tolland High School to face Rutgers on Saturday (Apr. 4) at 7 p.m. Connecticut sports an all-time record of 12-10-1 against the Scarlet Knights in regular and postseason action, and UConn has won two of the last three games in the series.

The Huskies will battle former Big East rival St. John’s at Bristol Eastern High School on Friday, Apr. 10 at 7 p.m. before playing at the University of Hartford the following Wednesday (Apr. 15) in a match set for 8 p.m. UConn has earned victories in 12 of its 13 all-time meetings between the Hawks in a series that dates back to 1958.

Connecticut will round out its spring schedule with a game against Sienna College on Saturday, Apr. 18 (7 p.m.) at Granby Memorial High School. Admission to each of UConn’s spring matches will be free.

UConn’s first of three ProHealth Soccer Clinics will take place prior to the match against Rutgers (Apr. 4) at 5 p.m. at the site of the game. The next clinic (5 p.m.) will be before UConn’s game vs. St. John’s at Bristol Eastern High School, and the final ProHealth Clinic is set for Thursday, Apr. 23 at the Wallingford Vietnam Veteran Memorial Park at 6:30 p.m.

Connecticut will host an additional clinic at 5 p.m. before its match against Sienna on Apr. 18. at Granby Memorial High School. Last season, UConn captured its 13^th-ever Conference Regular Season Championship and its first American Athletic Title. The Huskies finished the year unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 matches, and Reid was tabbed the NSCAA East Regional Coach of the Year.

Connecticut also earned Conference Coaching Staff of the Year honors, and forward Cyle Larin was selected No. 1 overall by Orlando City in January’s MLS SuperDraft, as UConn became the first school with back-to-back top picks. Former Husky standout Andre Blake became the first goalkeeper to be picked No. 1 overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft.
