#UDWSOC SHUT OUT BY OKLAHOMA STATE 2-0
STILLWATER, Okla. - The University of Dayton women's soccer team (4-6-1) fell 2-0 to Oklahoma State (6-6-0) on the road Sunday at Cowgirl Complex. The match closed out UD's regular season non-conference portion of its schedule. The Flyers return to Baujan Field Saturday, Oct. 4 for their Atlantic 10 Conference opener against Saint Louis. Dayton is unbeaten at home this season.
Dayton had 11 shots to OSU's seven but the Cowgirls had three on goal while UD had just two shots on frame. Junior Nicole Waters had a match-high three shots for the Flyers.
Sophomore Jenna DiTusa got her first start as a Flyer and played all 90 minutes in goal, registering one save.
OSU scored in the 2nd minute (Laurene Tresfield at the 1:03 mark) and 49th minute (Anna Beffer at the 48:47 mark in the second half). The Cowgirls also had six offsides calls agains them. OSU has won six consecutive matches now.
