Given the U.S. youth national teams’ recent struggles in qualifying, the last ten days in the Cayman Islands were a welcome sight.
In five games, the United States U20 WNT, a team comprised mostly of women’s Division I college stars, outscored their opponents 29-0, playing some quality soccer on their way to qualifying for this summer’s World Cup. A Sunday win over Mexico clinched the tournament title.
