RICHMOND, Va. – Courtney Conrad scored twice to lead VCU to a 2-0 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Saint Louis Friday night at Sports Backers Stadium.

First-year A-10 member VCU improved to 8-4-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play. SLU fell to 3-7-3, 1-2-1.

Following a scoreless first half, Conrad gave VCU a 1-0 lead in the 58th minute. She doubled the Rams’ advantage with her ninth goal of the season in the 70th minute.

Saint Louis plays at Richmond Sunday afternoon.
