Brooklyn, NY – The Wagner College women's soccer team makes the short trip across the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge on Saturday as the Seahawks gear up to take on the LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds on Saturday in a 1:00 p.m. start.

- The Wagner College women's soccer team dropped its Sunday afternoon Northeast Conference (NEC) match to the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils, 6-1, at Hameline Field.
- Wagner notched its goal in the 38' minute of the first half as sophomore forward Le'la Allen was able to locate a loose ball after freshman teammate Christina Bacon chipped into the box. Alllen then blasted in the shot for her second goal of the season and third of her Seahawk career. For Bacon, it was her first career assist.
Wagner – LIU Brooklyn Series History:
- Saturday's contest between the Seahawks and the Blackbirds is the 22nd all-time meeting between the schools with LIU Brooklyn holding a 14-6-1 advantage in the head-to-head series.
- Last season, these squads played to a 0-0 draw on Staten Island. Madison Starr and Maria Nunez each had two shots in the contest with Starr's attempt being fired on target.
- Delaney Beck made 11 saves in net for the Seahawks.
- Wagner enters Saturday's contest with LIU Brooklyn riding a five-match unbeaten streak against the Blackbirds, posting a 4-0-1 record during this stretch.
- The last time the Seahawks were bested by the Blackbirds came back on September 30, 2012, when Wagner was blanked, 3-0, in Brooklyn.

- Saturday's contest with Central Connecticut marks the 168th all-time Northeast Conference (NEC) match the Seahawks will play.
- The most conference victories the Green & White has had in a single season is five, set back in 2014 when Wagner finished second in the league with a 5-1-2 conference mark and a 9-7-3 overall record en route to earning the No. 2 seed in the NEC Tournament.

- Junior captain, Maria Nunez, and sophomore Le'la Allen each lead the way for the Seahawks with two goals scored on the season, as both are tied for ninth in the conference.
- Senior goalkeeper, Katie Viscardi, ranks sixth in the NEC with 45 saves this season. The Hazlet, NJ native has 169 for her career and is just 31 away from reaching the 200 career save plateau

Scouting The LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds:
- The Blackbirds enter play on Saturday with a 2-8-3 overall record and in search of their first conference victory of the season (0-2-1).
- LIU Brooklyn fell to Sacred Heart, 2-1, back on September 30.
- As a team, LIU Brooklyn ranks second in the NEC in saves, stopping 94 on the season while averaging 7.23 per contest.
- The Blackbirds' goalkeeper, Aline Allmann, recorded a career-high 17 saves against the Pioneers,
- Marian Awad is the team's leading scorer, having netted seven goals on the year and totaling 14 points. She is tied with Central Connecticut's Danielle Pearse for second in the conference in goals scored and ranks third in points.
- Emily Poole leads the squad with three assists and is in a five-way tie for second place on the assist leaderboard.
- LIU as had three different players in net. Megan Virgin has played in seven games while earning the start in four contests and has made 44 saves while allowing 13 goals.
- Aline Allmann ranks sixth in the circuit in goals against average at 1.65 while ranking third in save percentage at .814.
