Another year, and another impressive group of freshman talent has left its mark on the women's Division I game.
TopDrawerSoccer.com highlights a number of those rookies with the Postseason Top 100 freshman rankings, released this week.
Highlighted by Canadian national team stalwart Jessie Fleming (UCLA), the rankings are dominated by up-and comers from around the world. Players like NC State's Ricarda Walkling and Kristina Schuster (Germany), Long Beach State's Chloe Froment (France) and Florida State's Deyna Castellanos (Venezuela) sit near the top of the list.
There's no scarity in U.S. talent either, as Ella Stevens (Duke), Anika Rodriguez (UCLA), Taylor Kornieck (Colorado), Tierna Davidson (Stanford), Bridgette Andrzejewski (North Carolina) and Zoe Morse (North Carolina) represent promising young domestic hopefuls.
