Women's National Top 100 Midseason update
As the women's Division I season winds towards the postseason, it's an apt juncture to check in with some of the best individuals across the country, with the release of the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Top 100 midseason update.
Last year's Player of the Year Morgan Brian continues to hold firm on her No. 1 ranking, commanding the Virginia offense while splitting duties with the U.S. Women's National Team.
Nipping on her heels are a pair of UCLA stalwarts, as Abby Dahlkemper and Sarah Killion continue to impress out in Westwood, along with the new No. 6 ranked Sam Mewis. The Bruins individual dominance on the field is represented with eight players in the Top 100 overall.
Also checking into the top 10 is Icelandic dynamo Dagny Brynjarsdottir (No. 4), West Virginia center back Kadeisha Buchanan (No. 6), Texas A&M sharp-shooter Shea Groom (No. 7), Cavalier speedster Makenzy Doniak (No. 8), Florida's Savannah Jordan (No. 9) and Texas Tech outside back Jaelene Hinkle.
