Women's Team of the Week: September 23
A defensive star earns player of the week honors as Emily Mason delivered two clutch performances for Rutgers University.

The week began with the senior center back playing all 90 minutes while leasing a defense that allowed just one shot on target in a 3-0 defeat of Oregon. What followed was a clutch performance versus Washington, as Mason again played the full 90 while assisting the lone goal on a brilliant long-range pass. The Scarlet Knights are now 2 and 0 in Big Ten play amid six consecutive clean sheets.

Women’s Team of the Week: September 16-22
GK: Olivia Molina, FGCU - Molina had an exceptional week with two saves and a clean sheet versus North Florida, then nine saves, including a penalty stop, to defeat Jacksonville 2-0.
D: Camila Lezcano, Gardner-Webb - The Junior defender led on both sides of the ball versus South Carolina State, scoring twice while playing 90 minutes in the 4-0 victory.
D: Emily Mason, Rutgers - Mason led the Rutgers backline admirably with 180 minutes played and one assist in two clean-sheet conference victories.
D: Rylie Combs, Mississippi State - Thanks to Combs and her dominant week, Mississippi State shut out the high-flying offenses of Oklahoma and No. 4 Texas for two victories.
M: Erin Weir, Canisius - The Senior star assisted five of the eight goals Canisius scored in victories over Le Moyne and Saint Peter’s.
M: Amelia Severn, Gonzaga - Severn was at her best in a victory over Denver, scoring twice and assisting one to contribute all three goals in the 3-1 win.
M: Ava Tankersley, Arkansas - Kicking off her week with the assist to defeat LSU 1-0, Tankersley added to that with two goals in an 8-2 defeat of Missouri.
M: Ella Weil, Brown - The Bears caught fire in a 6-1 defeat of Northeastern fueled by Weil scoring twice and assisting another.
F: Noemi Paquin, Florida International - Middle Tennessee had no answer for the Canadian forward as her hat trick paced a 4-2 victory.
F: Jennifer Blitchok, Western Michigan - Just three days after playing 90 minutes in a grueling 1-1 draw with Ohio, Blitchok somehow had the energy to manage a hat trick plus an assist in a 6-0 defeat of Miami (OH).
F: Caroline Kelly, TCU - Kelly was a consistent difference maker for the Horned Frogs, scoring twice in a 4-1 defeat of BYU, then striking the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Arizona.
