As high school state champions are crowned, TopDrawerSoccer will update this list.

For each state, the classification or organization is listed, followed by the champion, runner-up, final score, season (Fall, Winter, Spring). In states with multiple governing bodies, the champions for each organization is recognized.

IDAHO

5A Rocky Mountain def. Boise 1-0 (PKs) Fall

NOTES: Utah commit Kasey Wardle came up with a game-saving save in the PKs and Madison Murphy converted in the next round, leading Rocky Mountain to a penalty kick victory following a scoreless match. Boise’s final attempt hit the post. Rocky Mountain (17-1-2) has won two titles in a row.

4A Sandpoint def. Kuna 2-0 Fall

NOTES: Kylie Williams scored one goal and Sandpoint (12-3) benefitted from an own goal in stunning Kuna. In the semifinals, Sandpoint knocked off favored Bishop Kelly. Sandpoint keeper Hattie Larson delivered the shutout in both the semifinal and final victories.

3A Coeur d'Alene Charter def. Sugar-Salem 3-0 Fall

NOTES: Isabella Luck, Sarah Hines and Cadence Wilson scored the goals and Mercerdes Zepada recorded the shutout as CdA Charter capped an 18-1 season with a state title.

MINNESOTA

AA Maple Grove def. Centennial 2-1 Fall

NOTES: Kelley Kloncz and Emma Fournier scored to give Maple Grove a 2-0 lead and the squad held on for the program’s first state title. Minnesota commit Khyah Harper scored in the second half for Centennial.

A Mahtomedi def. Orono 3-2 Fall

NOTES: Mahtomedi converted two penalty kicks in the final 11 minutes to rally for a 3-2 over Orono, marking the team’s third straight state title -- all three against the same program. After Audrey Sexson tied the match at 2 with 11 minutes to play, Lauren Heinsch converted the game-winning PK with three minutes left for the final margin. Both PKs were earned through the attacking play of Anna Wagner.

MISSISSIPPI (MAIS)

Div. I Jackson Prep def. Jackson Academy 2-1 Fall

NOTES: Anna Grace Morgan and Maggie Muenzenmay scored the goals as Jackson Academy jumped out to a 2-0 lead 25 minutes into the match en route to a state final victory.

Div. II Hartfield Academy def. Lamar School 4-1 Fall

NOTES: N/A.

Div. III Indianola Academy def. Laurel Christian 1-0 Fall

NOTES: N/A.

SOUTH DAKOTA

AA Yankton def. Aberdeen Central 1-0 Fall

NOTES: Jaiden Boomsma scored with two minutes remaining in the match to lift Yankton (15-0-2) to a state title and cap an undefeated season.

A Tea Area def. West Central 2-0 Fall

NOTES: Desirae Patzwald and Sydney Neuhardt scored the goals as Tea Area (13-1-1) dethroned three-time defending champ West Central.

VERMONT

Div. I Champlain Valley Union def. Colchester 4-1 Fall

NOTES: Josie Pector scored twice and Gillian Magnier and Catherine Gilwee each added goals as CVU extended its win streak to 51 matches and claimed its third straight state title -- eighth in the past nine years.

Div. II Rice Memorial def. Harwood 2-1 Fall

NOTES: Maris Lynn and Alex Dostie scored the goals as Rice (11-6-1) rallied for a 2-1 victory and the program’s first state title since winning the Division I crown in 1999. Harwood finished 10-6.

Div. III Thetford Academy def. Vergennes 6-1 Fall

NOTES: Thetford ended the season on a 13-match win streak as the team captured its third straight state title. Thetford finished 15-2-1.

Div. IV Proctor def. Rivendell Academy (N.H.) 6-0 Fall

NOTES: Maddie Flanders scored three goals as Proctor (17-1) cruised to a state title victory.
