Maggie Pierce has known that she wanted to play soccer for North Carolina ever since she watched Tar Heel graduates lead the U.S. at the World Cup and the Olympics when she was little. Earlier this month, the freshman from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh advanced that dream when she committed to UNC for the class of 2019.
