HS: Hotchkiss is now Prep girls No. 1
October 18, 2017
As expected Noble and Greenough (Mass.) had a major play in the Prep Top 10 girls rankings last week, and Hotchkiss School (Conn.) came out as the big winner.
Nobles knocked Nos. 1 and 2 from last week, allowing Hotchkiss to inherit the No. 1 ranking this week.
Hotchkiss is averaging 4.5 goals per match in its 10-0 start.
On the boys side, there was not a single change in the Top 5. In fact, the only movement came when Peddie School (N.J.) fell from No. 8 to No. 10, pushing two programs up a spot this week. South Kent School (Conn.) stays No. 1 and Berkshire School (Mass.) remains No. 2 following a wild 7-5 win over No. 3 Taft School (Conn.).
