HS: Winter SIMA FAB 50, Dec. 13
It's beginning to look a lot like -- early winter.
Twenty-three news teams joined the SIMA FAB 50 this week (11 boys, 12 girls) as early season tournaments helped shake up the rankings. Expect the revolving door to conitnue the next few weeks as the California schools start to sort out their ranking order.
BIG MOVERS: BOYS: St. Paul's (Covington, La.). A series of losses by teams in the Top 25 last week allowed St. Paul's to jump from No. 24 to No. 13, basically right back to where it was a week earlier. ... GIRLS: Los Alamitos (Calif.). A perfect run to the Aliso Cup final helps Los Alamitos jump from No. 45 to No. 10 this week, the biggest move by far among the previously ranked teams.
