HS: Winter, Spring FAB 50 rankings, March 5
San Clemente (Calif.) boys and JSerra (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) girls pulled off a rare double, and Monte Vista (Danville, Calif.) girls took advantage of a second chance to highlight high school soccer action last week.
All three teams secured FAB 50 Top 10 finishes for the winter season, while JSerra remains in the running for the FAB 50 national title.
With all but Texas finished in the winter season, we start to pivot toward the spring season, where a handful of states have started regular season play.
The most noticeable spring moves include a changing of the guard in the FAB 50 boys Top 5. Preseason No. 1 Wando (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) lost a match, ending its lengthy win streak and No. 2 Westminster Schools (Atlanta, Ga.) tied Bob Jones (Madison, Ala.). Those results lead to a trio of Virginia teams that have yet to play moving up to the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 positions. [Albermarle va-m] (Charlottesville, Va.) tops the chart this week.
Now, on with the rankings ...

Monte Vista jumped 13 spots this week to No. 7 and could finish in the Top 5 before this season is over.
