Experience New Heights at Avalanche Invite
For girls who are serious about getting recruited for college soccer, and for club coaches who want to give their players the greatest soccer tournament experience available, the Avalanche Invitational Showcase in Park City, Utah is precisely the right tournament for you. At one of the most pristine towns in the world, tucked away in the Rocky Mountains, this tournament not only provides beautiful mountain scenery, a mild and comfortable temperature, but also the type of world class fields that have embraced U.S. Soccer’s Men’s National Team for its high altitude preparations at 6500 feet above sea level.
In just its third year of existence, the Avalanche Invitational Showcase has become very popular for its wide reach of quality teams and for the exciting variety of colleges represented. Girls club soccer teams from all US Youth Soccer’s Region IV states, Texas, Nebraska, and Missouri head to Utah each summer to play in comfortable temperatures with a serene backdrop. Daily summer highs in Park City usually hover around 75 degrees, while temperatures create a cool nighttime environment in the 40’s.
Recognizing the top talent of players involved, tons of colleges use the Avalanche Invitational Showcase as a scouting ground, schools such as Oregon, BYU, UCLA, USC, and Utah make up some of the big Division I programs recruiting at the tournament. In addition, visiting college coaches from smaller schools located from all over the nation, from Hawaii to Maine, make the trip to Park City because they know the talent on display.
The tournament has several other great features as well. A VIP tent is fully catered each day and allows club coaches and college coaches to mingle and come together. The Avalanche Invitational Showcase also is an all-girls tournament so there is a singular focus for coaches and teams. Lastly, tournament director Scott Butler takes great pride in the tournament for its amazing customer service, with phone calls and emails answered quickly, as the people simply care for the tournament’s participants.
As Omaha FC head coach, Andy Benkis revealed, “this was the best experience we have had at a tournament . . . what really separates (this) tournament from others is the people involved.”
Such high praise is a natural response for players and coaches who attend the Avalanche Invitational Showcase. As 136 teams discovered this past June, playing soccer in a beautiful mountain location in an event organized by caring individuals is exactly the type of thing that not only produces happy memories of soccer but also provides an incredible opportunity for the members of your club soccer team.
With every player and coach trying to find the perfect tournament to get noticed and play the game as competitively as possible, the Avalanche Invitational Showcase is the clear-cut solution. With girls’ soccer tournaments being held in ages ranging from U9 to U18, every girls’ soccer club has the opportunity of a lifetime that should be realized by attending this incredible new event.
The 2014 dates will be June 6-8. Early registration is encouraged! Visit their website here: www.AvalancheInvitational.com.
