FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: California (fall section only), Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (private), West Virginia, Wisconsin.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

St. Benedict's two scheduled matches were postponed due to heavy rain.

Alex Gotsky and John Duldner scored a goal in both outings as St. Ignatius traveled to New York and took out Martin Luther King 5-0 and St. Anthony's 4-1.

Wake Forest commit Tunde Akinlosotu scored three goals and sophomore standout Stevie Nichols added a goal and four assists as McDonogh rolled over John Carroll 6-1 in the team's only match last week.

Connor Gregory scored three goals in both of Haverford School's outings last week, a 5-1 win over Holy Ghost Prep and a 4-0 victory over St. Joseph's Prep.

Three players scored as Delbarton blanked Hanover Park 3-0, pushing the team's shutout streak to 10 matches.

Despite its dominance, which includes 9-0 and 5-0 wins last week, Mason does not have a single scorer with more than nine goals.

Junior Ryan Weishaar scored the only goal as Olathe East edged Olathe South 1-0 last week. Two days earlier, Jacob Ostertag scored four goals in the team's 10-0 win over Shawnee Mission North.

West Orange -- with a perfect record -- makes a major jump in this week's rankings since it defeated Livingston, which tied former Top 10-ranked Seton Hall Prep.

Peoria Notre Dame Peoria, IL 13-0-3
T.J. Rea came up big for the Irish in a 2-0-1 showing at the Gateway City Soccer Classic, which earned the team a bracket title.

Anthony Bowie has been a scoring machine as Forest Hills Central remained undefeated with a pair of wins last week.

Josh Foss delivered the game-clinching goal as Apex defeated Middle Creek 3-1 in a key match last week. Apex also defeated Athens Drive 4-0.

University makes a major jump, power by Peoria Notre Dame's showing at the Gateway City Soccer Classic. PND won a bracket title and the only blemish on University's record this year is an early-season tie with PND.
