18 U.S. Men’s YNT players to watch in 2018
The changing of the year brings a new outlook for U.S. Soccer at the Men’s National Team level. After the massive failure of 2017, U.S. Soccer is looking for some success stories in 2018 especially from the youth game. Last year, the U.S. enjoyed some accomplishment at the youth level with the U20 Men’s National Team winning the CONCACAF Championship and both the U17 and U20 Men’s National Teams advancing to the quarterfinal round of their respective youth World Cups.
The upcoming year does not offer the same team opportunities for the youth squads, but the individuals from those teams and others in the U.S. Soccer youth national program will be in the spotlight as all attention turns toward the distant goals of success in 2022. Here’s a look at 18 players who are in from meaningful years in 2018.
