2012 Regional Star is North Carolina bound

Today we're looking at our latest girls' commitments from around the country.
Let's take a look at the ladies:
Victoria Bruce is an ECNL star, a US Club Soccer id2 National Training Camp player, and soon enough she’ll become a part of the treasured North Carolina women’s soccer tradition.
Bruce has committed to the Tar Heels for the 2012 season, fulfilling a longtime goal.
“I have dream about playing for UNC since I was a young girl,” said Bruce, on her Charlotte Soccer Academy team website. “I can’t wait to be a member of the Tar Heel family and it’s tradition of excellence and success.”
Abbey Ritter (Baltimore Bays) has committed to Georgia Southern for 2012. Ritter is a dangerous winger who is ranked No. 18 in the Mid-Atlantic Region. She has helped her Bays squad capture five straight State Cup titles.
Ellie Tillar (Cincinnati Soccer Alliance), a central midfielder, has committed to Eastern Michigan for 2012.
Marissa Lombard (Buffalo Soccer Academy) has committed to Marshall for the 2012 season. This New York standout is a versatile player who is featured both as an outside back and a midfielder.
Jasmine Sampson (Bethesda SC), a midfielder, has committed to Syracuse for the 2012 season. Sampson is a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s U17 National Team. She has a great feel for the game and has enormous talent.
2011s
Kendall Kraus (San Diego Surf) has committed to Dartmouth for 2011. Kraus, a midfielder, is a capable goal-scorer or facilitator. She has played and developed around great talent through the years, including standouts like Laura Liedle and Maya Theuer.
Sara Haefeli (Jersey United) has committed to Seton Hall for the 2011 season. Haefeli can play in the back or midfield and is a tough competitor.
Alexis Guches (Crossfire Premier) has committed to Coastal Carolina for the 2011 season.
Alicia Elwell (Pittsgrove) has committed to St. Bonaventure for the 2011 season. Elwell is an aggressive attacker who brings a scrappy attitude to the field. She will see time at both forward and attacking midfielder for the Bonnies.
Lauren Soper (Freestate SA) has committed to Francis Marion for the 2011 season.
Brianne Medved (De Anza Force) has committed to Loyola Marymount for the 2011 season.
