April Showers have brought May flowers and the thing blooming this week is our Players To Watch Top 100 Boys national ranking, which we update today.

The U17 Men’s National Team and USSF Development Academy continue to dominate the list, which has a new #1 in Dallas native and FC Koln midfielder-defender Matthew Dunn. Fellow U17 MNT player Nathan Smith moves up to #2 and New England Revlolution professional Diego Fagundez, still playing U16 matches in the Academy, drops to #3.

Other movers in the current list include Jack McBean, Zachary Pfeffer and Antonio Murillo, plus Armando Moreno and Yanni Hachem farther down the list.

The 411: TopDrawerSoccer.com's Players To Watch rankings utilize national rankings out of a 16-region setup.  Every Monday we will feature a national top 100 update for one of four rankings (2012 and 2013 Boys and Girls), while Tuesday through Friday we will update one of these regions for each feature. This way every regional and national list is updated once per month.

Players To Watch Regional Rankings and National Top 100 in 12 age groups are based on staff assimilation of data and feedback received from coaches and other observers around the country.
