The recent update to the player rankings in the 2023 class revealed some players who have made a jump in the past 12 months - either on the professional trajectory or on the college trajectory. With the limited amount of exposure for these players in terms of recruiting opportunities in the last 12 months, it is worth highlighting some of the players from outside of MLS academies who have impressed scouts recently with their play.
These include players in the national rankings as well as players in consideration for regional ranking position. All players are currently uncommitted as of the first week of February.
