The latest 2025 Women’s Division I recruiting class rankings are out for February, as new additions continue to become official.
Transfers have started to pick up the pace, and will ultimately make a big difference in the recruiting class rankings when all is said and done. Several transfers have been announced on social media previously, and will continue to factor into the recruiting class rankings in the coming months.
Here’s a look at the latest women’s DI recruiting class rankings for the class of 2025.
1. Duke* (1)
Commitments: F Avery Oder (Beach FC (CA) – No. 8), D Jocelyn Travers (Bay Area Surf – No. 15), D Daya King (Legends FC – No. 17), GK Molly Vapensky (FC United (IL) – No. 19), D Alexis Coughlin (Legends FC – No. 23), F Kaylee Kim (Bay Area Surf – No. 80), M Kosette Koons-Perdikis (Fairfax Virginia Union)
Several U.S. youth national team players are heading to Durham. Kieran Hall has taken the reins, and he adds some of the top youth players in the country to the group. Vapensky and Oder have both graduated from high school and enrolled early in the spring.
2. Clemson* (3)
Commitments: M Carla Small (IMG Academy – No. 7), F Juju Harris (Florida United – No. 10), D Reese Klein (Florida United SC – No. 12), D Jolie Jenkins (VDA – No. 27), M Neely Kerr (Tophat SC – No. 33), D Maddie Costello (SUSA FC Academy – No. 42), D Elle Bissinger (Carolina Elite Soccer Academy – No. 93), F Alessandra Washington (Concorde Fire SC – No. 128), GK Madeline Parrott (Scorpions SC – No. 163), D Avery Stanley (Wilmington Hammerheads FC)
Speaking of quality heading to the ACC, Clemson has lined up a group that can step in and contribute right away. Jenkins is a name to keep an eye out for, and she can play as a winger or outside back. Harris committed to the Tigers recently.
3. Florida State (2)
Commitments: D Mya Brandon (Michigan Hawks – No. 26), F Jaida McGrew (Charlotte Soccer Academy – No. 31), D Kai Price (Concorde Fire SC – No. 44), F Nyanya Touray (Bethesda SC – No. 66), M Nawreen Ahmad (Fairfax Virginia Union – No. 106), GK Evan O’Steen (Solar SC), GK Kate Ockene (La Roca Premier)
Transfers: M Yuna McCormack (Virginia), D Janet Okeke (NC State), F Erin Flurey (Syracuse)
The loss of Harris is a minor blow, though this remains a stacked class.
4. Virginia (4)
Commitments: D Jordyn Hardeman (Solar SC – No. 4), M Addison Halpern (PDA – No. 5), F Carrie Helfrich (Fairfax Virginia Union – No. 29), D Pearl Cecil (San Diego Surf – No. 39), M Loretta Talbott (Fairfax Virginia Union – No. 69), F Marin McCormack (Fairfax Virginia Union – No. 151), F Helen Olszewski (Oklahoma Energy FC – No. 183), GK Molly Carlson (Charlotte Soccer Academy)
Hardeman and Halpern have enrolled this spring, giving the Cavaliers two top-tier players looking set to join. Cecil is a reclassified 2008 who has been training in preseason with an NWSL side.
5. Texas* (5)
Commitments: F Ava McDonald (FC Dallas – No. 11), D Cameron Byrd (Solar SC – No. 38), F Audrey Bryant (Solar SC – No. 50), GK Mateya Dessieux (Tophat SC – No. 52), F Anne Gnidula (Connecticut FC – No. 84), M Ava Cashman (Slammers FC HB Koge – No. 107), M Sadie Hoch (Slammers FC HB Koge – No. 116), D Pearce Groer (FC Alliance (TN)), M Brooke Martinez (San Antonio City SC)
With some of the top talent in Texas staying in-state, it’s a promising start for a team that will need to figure out how to replace the offensive production of Lexi Missimo and Trinity Byars.
6. Penn State (6)
Commitments: M Riley Cross (PDA – No. 25), M Hannah Jordan (Solar SC – No. 30), F Kennedy Ring (World Class FC – No. 36), D Marlee Raymond (United Futbol Academy – No. 75), M Lily Phillips (Penn Fusion – No. 78), F Nicole Crane (World Class FC – No. 121), D Emma Fassora (Real Colorado – No. 160)
Transfers: F Taylor Cheatham (UCLA)
Penn State continues its impressive consistency of luring some of the best to State College. This group is no different. Raymond reclassified for 2025 and is another talented addition.
7. UCLA (7)
Commitments: F Leena Powell (Tudela FC – No. 16), M Sofia Atehortua (IMG Academy – No. 21), F Ana Sofia Cedeno (Solar SC – No. 45), D Cassidy Doogan (Slammers FC HB Koge – No. 67), GK Daphne Nakfoor (Slammers FC HB Koge – No. 82), M Grace Shank (Fairfax Virginia Union – No. 100), D Siena Meyer (LAFC So Cal – No. 193), F Payten Cooper (Solar SC), D Jordyn Dunn (So Cal Blues), M Laila Edris (MVLA)
The future Bruins are highlighted by Atehortua, who has been in several U.S. youth national team camps. Cedeno is a Texas standout who can help pull strings in the final third. The reclassification of Leena Powell adds a dynamic talent to the attacking group. She’s the real wild card of the class, as the potential is there for her to bring game-changing goals to the team.
8. Stanford* (8)
Commitments: M Y-Lan Nguyen (Virginia Development Academy – No. 6), GK Caroline Birkel (St. Louis Scott Gallagher – No. 49), F Ava Harrison (San Diego Surf – No. 53), F Amelia Bray (Crossfire Premier SC – No. 96), D Alex Tay (Seattle United – No. 144), M Lily Freer (St. Louis Scott Gallagher), M Brooke Holden (Rebels SC), M Noe Johnson (Lamorinda United)
Stanford has unsurprisingly added one of the top attacking midfielders in the class in Nguyen, who played at the World Cup with the U17 WNT.
9. Alabama* (9)
Commitments: M Paige Thompson (MVLA – No. 37), M Fiona Mahan (Pittsburgh Riverhounds – No. 46), F Sophia Martelli (Atlanta Fire United – No. 61), D Alexa Barker (Solar SC – No. 90), M Olivia Belcher (FC Dallas – No. 134), F Reece Ward (United Futbol Academy (GA) – No. 188)
Transfers: D Avery Brown (Mississippi), F Larkin Thomason (Mercer)
The attacking additions of Martelli and Ward bring in two of the top players in the Southeast to the SEC side. They are quality, dynamic options who should be able to make a contribution sooner rather than later.
10. USC* (10)
Commitments: D Edra Bello (San Diego Surf – No. 24), M Jaiden Rodriguez (San Diego Surf – No. 29), D Alison Hou (MVLA – No. 51), D Kensington Morgan (IMG Academy – No. 108), F Murphy Walsh (MVLA – No. 162), F Charlotte Ward (LAFC So Cal)
Transfers: M Sophia Cavaliere (Columbia)
At the tail end of a strong season, USC has another impressive recruiting class lined up. Rodriguez is another player who reclassified from 2026, and is a quality option as an attacking midfielder.
11. Michigan State (11)
Commitments: GK Kennedy Zorn (SC del Sol – No. 41), M Aubree Ciampa (Nationals SC – No. 43), D Maleeya Martin (Northern Virginia Alliance – No. 92), D Addison Baldus (Lou Fusz Athletic – No. 174), D Mackenzie Kruer (Indy Eleven Pro Academy – No. 192), M Abigail Dalton (Tulsa SC), F Emily Graham (Indy Premier Soccer Club), GK Noelle Henning (NDC Ontario), F Ava Lutke (Michigan Rangers), F Julia Molnar (Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals)
