23 players called into U.S. U18 MNT camp
The U.S. U18 Men’s National Team is headed to Chula Vista on Saturday, April 23 for the start of the third camp for the 1999 age group of 2016. The U18 MNT’s last camp was in March in Argentina. The group went undefeated in three friendlies in Buenos Aires with wins over clubs San Lorenzo and Racing Club as well as a 2-1 win over Urguay. Nicholas Taitague and Griff Dorsey finishes as joint top scorers from the trip with two goals a piece.
U18 MNT head coach Omid Namazi called in 23 players for the weeklong camp in Chula Vista. All of the players are born in 1999 and only two of them play for clubs outside of the United States.
