The Virginia-North Carolina duo of states makes up the ECNL Boys Mid-Atlantic Conference.
That creates an interesting schedule for the 2023-24 season. Virginia club teams begin play against one another in September, while North Carolina teams jump into action later in the fall.
There’s ample talent in the conference, highlighted by Richmond United winning the 06 age group national title this past summer. The Maryland teams have also splintered off to join the Northeast Conference South Division as well.
