The ECNL National Event in Florida wrapped up on Sunday as some of the top teams from the U16, U17, and U18 age groups concluded three games of action over the weekend. TopDrawerSoccer had exclusive coverage from the event - check out some of the standouts from Friday and Saturday’s games.
There were a few teams that put together perfect weekends from the National Event. In the U16 age group, Concorde Fire Platinum, Bethesda SC, Wilmington Hammerheads, McLean YSA, NC Fusion, FC Wisconsin, and Tampa Bay United Rowdies were all 3-0 during the weekend. In the U17 age group, Eclipse Select SC, SUSA FC, Wilmington Hammerheads, FC Stars White, Michigan Wolves-Hawks, DKSC, Kansas City Athletics, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and AHFC all tallied nine points from the three games. Riverhounds U17 did not concede a goal during the National Event. FC Pride U17, McLean YSA U16, Tampa Bay United Rowdies U16, FSA FC U16, PDA White U16, Florida Krush U18/19, and Pittsburgh Riverhounds U18/19 also finished the event without conceding a goal.
In the U18/19 age group, Florida Krush, Washington Premier, and Crossfire Premier all went a perfect 3-0 at the event. Krush recorded three shutouts and scored 14 goals in the three games.
