ECNL Recap: Playoff field set
Action over the weekend marked the conclusion of the ECNL season. Here’s a look at some of the highlights, with the National Playoffs on the schedule in the coming weeks:
U15
After opening the weekend with a 1-1 draw, the Colorado Storm won a shootout 4-3 to close out the schedule. Midfielder Katherine Wood scored twice, and Ingrid Alvarez and Courtney Coffey chipped in a goal each.
PDA cruised to a pair of 4-0 wins over the weekend. Gianna Bustamante, Elizabeth Kinkler, Victoria Kealy and Alyssa Cronin each scored in a 4-0 win over Albertson, and PDA replicated the same score line on Sunday against East Meadow.
Sunshine Soriano’s two goals and an assist helped Heat FC to a comprehensive 5-0 defeat of Las Vegas Premier SC. The goals flowed that day, as Niccole Mullins, Danielle Morris and Jordan Harden all contributing.
The Dallas Texans got the better of Lonestar SC, as Brittany Crabtree’s two goals led the way to a 2-0 win.
Jennifer Oak scored for Washington Premier as they snatched a point in the last game of the season with a 1-1 draw against San Juan Soccer Club.

U16
Wrapping up the season with a first game since February, Carolina Elite Soccer Academy defeated Charlotte Soccer Academy 4-0. Jeni Erickson, Savannah McCaskill, Sarah Renfro and Hannah Washko all scored for Carolina, while forward Abby DeMare added two assists in the win.
Two big games from Alana O’Neill lifted World Class FC to a pair of wins. After scoring twice in a 3-1 win against East Meadow, O’Neill also scored once in a 2-1 defeat of Albertson Fury.
Few sides finished off the schedule like PDA, which won both of games without allowing a goal. After beating Albertson Fury 3-0, PDA then got the better of East Meadow 2-0 on Sunday.
Playing in ECNL action for the first time since February – and marking the last game of the season – Carolina Elite Soccer Academy rolled to a 4-0 win against Charlotte Soccer Academy. Abby DeMare dished out two assists, while Savannah McCaskill and Jeni Erickson also contributed goals.

U17
In one of the more lopsided results from the weekend, World Class FC defeated Albertson Fury 8-0. Among those on the score sheet included Delany Williams, Jennifer Peters, Brianna Panico and Raba Nassif. However, World Class couldn’t win both games over the weekend, dropping its other game 3-2 versus East Meadow.
A hat trick from Meghan Carrigan paced the way for a big win for Carolina Elite over Charlotte Soccer Academy. Mollie Waters set up two tallies, while Chelsea Drennan and Lauren Watts also scored in a 5-1 win.
Leading scorer McKenzie Meehan was absent because of national team camp duty, but Scorpions SC grabbed two wins to close out its season. Andrea O’Brian helped pave the way in the first game, scoring a hat trick in a 5-2 win against SoccerPlus Connecticut. Skylar LeBlanc and Courtney Maguire then scored a goal each in a 2-0 win against Connecticut FC.
Another side to secure a winning final game was SC Del Sol, beating Sereno Soccer Club 3-1. Jamie Iurato score twice and Sydney Dooley also tallied in the win.
Winning both of its games on the weekend was Real Colorado. Katherine Leonard and Candace Cephers fired them to a 2-0 win over the Colorado Storm, and Real followed that up with a 1-0 win against the Utah Avalanche. Meghan Kilkenny grabbed the winner in that one.

A pair of goals by Cali Farquharson keyed SC Del Sol to a 3-0 win against Sereno SC. Jocelyn Jeffers also got on the board in the win.
Goals from Kristen Baker, Rebecca Lisson and Sarah Tuggle paced Carolina Elite to a 3-0 defeat of Charlotte Soccer Academy.
In what hasn’t been the best year from a results perspective, East Meadow managed back-to-back wins to wrap things up. Luisa Echeverria and Taylor Salkowsi each scored two goals in a 5-0 win over World Class FC. Echeverria scored again in the final 2-1 win over PDA.

MF Katherine Wood, Colorado Storm U15: Grabbed a brace in a high-scoring 4-3 win for the Storm over in state rivals the Rush.
GK Elizabeth Hill, PDA U15: The shot stopper kept two clean sheets over the weekend as PDA continued to play quality soccer.
D Savannah McCaskill, Carolina Elite Soccer Academy U16: McCaskill grabbed a goal and helped her side keep a clean sheet in a big 4-0 win.
F Alana O’Neill, World Class FC U16: The striker was active in both of her team’s wins this weekend, scoring a total of three goals in helping her side grab six points.
F Andrea O’Brien, Scorpions SC U17: Her hat trick helped Scorpions to a big 5-2 win over the weekend.
D Raba Nassif, World Class FC U17: The defender notched a goal and assisted the defense in securing a clean sheet in an 8-0 win.
F Luisa Echeverria, East Meadow U18: Her four-goal outburst for East Meadow in their two games of the weekend led them to a pair of wins.
D Kristen Baker, Carolina Elite Soccer Academy U18: Part of a defense that shut out the weekend’s opposition and even grabbed a goal in a winning effort.
